These Terms of Service apply to purchases and use of digital products sold by MarginRidge Studio through this Shopify store.

Digital Products

Our current products are downloadable business-management tools, primarily Microsoft Excel .xlsx files.

Product pages describe the files and editions included with each purchase. No physical item is shipped unless a product page expressly states otherwise.

Licence and Permitted Use

Unless a product page states otherwise, a purchase gives the buyer a non-exclusive licence to use the files for their own personal or internal business purposes.

You may edit the files for your own use.

You may not:

  • Resell the files

  • Redistribute or publicly share the files

  • Sublicense the files

  • Upload the files for others to download

  • Claim the original files as your own product

Software and Compatibility

You are responsible for having compatible software and devices.

Current spreadsheet products are designed for Microsoft Excel and are supplied in .xlsx format unless stated otherwise.

Pricing, Taxes and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency presented by the store or checkout.

Applicable taxes may be calculated or collected according to the checkout, your location and legal requirements.

Payment must be successfully authorised before digital delivery is completed.

Product Information and Business Decisions

We aim to describe products accurately and keep formulas and files functional.

MarginRidge Studio products are operational business-management tools only. They do not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment or financial advice.

You are responsible for verifying your own:

Templates and calculators can help organise information and perform calculations, but we do not guarantee any particular profit, revenue, business outcome or financial result from using them.

Refunds

Refunds and remedies are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Intellectual Property

The original structure, design, written material and downloadable files supplied by MarginRidge Studio remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Your purchase does not transfer ownership of those rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MarginRidge Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from decisions made using a template or calculator.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes

We may update products, store features and these Terms from time to time.

The Terms applying to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.
